ELAY participates in the GREENTOOLING project to promote a more sustainable and efficient fineblanking

ELAY is  taking part in GREENTOOLING, an R+D project aimed at the development of fineblanking tools with high

performance and lower environmental impact. Its objective is to increase the durability of tools, improve process

efficiency and reduce the use of critical raw materials.

This project is part of the DOIKA Process philosophy, where we understand that our product is our process. For

this reason, we are continuously working on the development of technologies, materials and knowledge that allow us

to manufacture more efficiently, sustainably and competitively.

Thanks to the different lines of research developed, ELAY has achieved:

• The developmert of  more efficient and long-lasting fineblanking strategies.
• A reduction in machine downtime and process inefficiencies.
• Improved die design and FEM simulation for high-demand applications.
• The optimization  of  lubricants use in fineblanking processes.
• The design and manufacture of high-precision dies and punches using new advanced materials.
• Enhanced performance of critical components through PVD coatings and reloading technologies.

These advances contribute to improving energy efficiency, optimising the use of resources and strengthening the

competitiveness of industrial processes.
